Nora Lighting NHR-354AT True NonIC Airtight Remodel Line Voltage

Nora Lighting's Line Voltage True 3" MR16 GU10 housing provides the crisp reflectance of MR16 light sources while operating on straight line voltage without transformers. The housing is labeled for use with Nora 3" MR16 trims and features true 3" recessed housing. Air-tight construction provides energy savings by reducing the flow of air through the ceiling, resulting in a more energy-efficient solution.

The housing is designed for use in remodel construction and is not insulated ceiling rated and airtight. It requires a single 50 watt GU10 bulb and is capable of being dimmed with compatible dimmable bulbs (not included). The housing is CUL rated for damp locations and covered under a 1 Year Limited manufacturer warranty.

In terms of dimensions, the trim size is 3", the height is 4-5/8", the width is 11", and the depth is 3-3/8". The product weight is 1.75 lbs, and the cutout size is 3". The electrical specifications include a single bulb with a max wattage of 50 watts and a GU10 bulb base. The light bulb is not included.

Minimum clearances for the non-IC housing include 3' from thermal insulation and 1/2' from adjacent building components. The air-tight gasket comes pre-installed, and the housing accepts a 3/8' ceiling thickness only. The MR16 trims have an adjustment bracket providing a secure friction hold for any desired angle.

The installation process involves high-tension, tempered steel springs to secure the remodel housings evenly to the ceiling. A hole cutout template is provided for convenience. The junction box contains one 3/4', two 1/2' knockouts, and four Romex® pryouts with strain relief. A quick connector is also provided for the electrical connection.

The aperture size is 3", the height is 4.63", the length is 11.38", and the width is 3.25". The housing is rated for interior dry installation and has a UL (Underwriter's Laboratory) safety certification.
